Championship: Marder on the Move

$2,500 + $200 Championship Deep Stack Double Play NLH (Re-Entry)

Blinds 8k/16k/2k ante

Michael Marder began the level at 200k (13 bb) and after winning a pot from Robert Hanes and then getting more than a double-up on another hand he's up to nearly 1 million chips (63 bb).

The big hand comes when Marder, Mike Linster and Jeremy Menard see a flop of A 2 4♣.

Marder checks, Linster bets 55k (305k behind) and Menard makes it 140k (350k behind).

Marder check-raises all in for 378k and Linster jumps up from his chair and can't believe the bet.

Linster eventually folds, putting Menard in the tank.  After a two minutes, Menard calls and gets the bad news.

"I knew that's what you had," says Linster as Marder tables a set of 4s.  Menard is drawing thin with AQ and ends up shipping the double.

"Running over the table," jokes one player to which Marder simply smiles and stacks the chips.
