Championship: Jonas Jumps to top of Chip Counts

$2,500 + $200 Championship Deep Stack Double Play NLH (Re-Entry)

Level 10: Blinds 400/800/100 ante

Wexler & Kuey

There's a huge hand on Table 3 that may have a direct impact on the end of night chip bonuses.

On the last hand of the prior level, Jonas Wexler (Southampton, PA) raises to 1,700 and gets a call from Natale Kuey (New York, NY). A third player 3-bets to 5k, before Wexler comes over the top to 14,500.

Kuey folds and the remaining player makes it 30k before Wexler moves all in for 90k effective stacks.

The player goes deep in the tank and tries every trick in the book to get a read on Wexler. The player exposes KK on the table and is put on the clock.

The player eventually makes the call and Wexler is in deep trouble with AK. But an Ace hits the turn and Wexler wins the 180k chip pot to take his stack to near 200k. Incidentally, Kuey says he folded AK.

"When I saw that (Kings), I was hoping he'd (Floor Manager) count faster."

Wexler is now in the running for the end of night bonuses that go to the chip leader ($3,000) and second in chips ($1,500).
