Championship: Wicker Gets Max Value with Ace-high

$2,500 + $200 Championship Deep Stack Double Play NLH (Re-Entry)

Level 8:  Blinds 250/500/50 ante

Day 1B is split between two rooms with Media Row in the Signature Room. Across the hall in the Poker Room we pick up the action between Jeff Wicker (Philadelphia, PA) and Max Rozenfeld (New York, NY) on the river.

With the board showing 8 4♣ 2♠ J♠ 6, Rozenfeld bets 4k into the pot and Wicker eventually tank-calls.

"King high," says Rozenfeld who mucks when Wicker turns over Ace-high.

Wicker is up to 25k and would've been down to less than 10k had he lost the hand.  Rozenfeld is comfortable at 80k.

Rozenfeld has two Borgata trophies, including a win in September's kickoff event of nearly 4,500 entries for $363,000. Wicker finished third this series in Event 10 ($660 entry) for $12,000 to push his career earnings past $100,000.
