Dave Meagher takes down the first bounty tournament of the Borgata Fall Poker Open as he nips Charles Furey (2nd), Goran Kojic (3rd) and Alex Faynkikh (4th) on the final hand.
"It feels good," says Meagher who earns $34,196 for his first Borgata win. "I have to thank my wife Debbie for putting up with me," he adds while giving a shout out to his sons Miles and Chase.
Meagher is a software engineer who plays at Borgata for the "big events," and picked up 10 bounties for an additional $1,000. This win is one spot better than his runner-up finish to Steve Dannenmann for $21,000 during the 2011 Borgata Winter Poker Open ($350 event).
