Event 10 Winner - Sneideman

$600 + $60  Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)

Blinds 20k/40k/4k ante

Michael Sneideman (Newtown, CT)
$35,357

Michael Sneideman had nearly a 6 to 1 chip lead at the start of heads up play and closes the deal against Michael Bonita at the Borgata Fall Poker Open.

Bonita is all in for ~750k and at risk.

Sneideman: A♣ K
Bonita: Q♣ T

Flop: A J5 (Sneideman pair of Aces, Bonita gutshot straight draw)

Turn: 4(Bonita adds flush draw)

River 5♠

Sneideman dodges Bonita's 12 outs on the river and wins the tournament with Aces up.

"I can't believe it," says Sneideman, who is thrilled and mildly surprised he gets a trophy. "I get to keep this," he asks.

Sneideman started the day 17th in chips out of 18 returning players and was down to 115k (10 bb) at the final table.

"Patience was the key," says Sneideman, who wins his first Borgata trophy.  "But once I got chips, I took advantage of a tight table image and was able to chip up without a lot of hands."

Sneideman is a mailman in his tight-knit Connecticut community and says he plays poker seriously, but is "definitely an amateur."

His highest prior finish came in September's Poker Open when he finished 4th in the $1k for $12,000.  "I stewed over it for awhile," says Sneideman, "I misplayed a couple of hands and it stayed with me," and adds, "number one by a mile," on his list of poker accomplishments.
