Eric Fields (Greensboro, NC) is back at Borgata and playing as well as he did when he made September's WPT final table.
Fields is the chip leader with 196k, "now 195,800," he says after posting his 200 ante, this fresh off his 6th place finish for $169,000.
It's been a banner year for Fields, the 22-year-old recent graduate of Alabama who recently turned pro. In addition to his Borgata success, Fields has earned two WSOP circuit rings and has four final tables for career earnings of $225,000.
Not a bad start to his career, and not a bad start to this opening event of the Borgata Fall Poker Open.
