Chris DeQuatro and Joe McKeehen traded chips seven times heads up before DeQuatro finally finished runner-up.
"I played pretty well," says DeQuatro who recently left the Navy. "There were lots of flips at the end that determined it. I'm fine with the results."
At one point DeQuatro had a 12.8 million to 1.4 million chip lead, but McKeehen got three straight double-ups to prolong the match.
DeQuatro is heading back to Virginia, but may return to Borgata to try and satellite into the Championship Event. DeQuatro says he'll play poker until he goes to college.
